During the 1990’s Mimi Aboriginal Arts commissioned Paddy to create a series of ochres on bark paintings to showcase his Rembarrnga spiritual, physical and mythological worlds. Thirty-eight.
The Paddy Fordham Bark Collection was lost forever when the Katherine River flooded Australia Day 1998.
MBFA Graphite Collection
Given Paddy Fordhams prolific output of commercial artwork, MBFA began to explore new art mediums. Graphite and paper. Fordham eagerly embraced the fresh direction, declaring “This is the way it used to be, just black.”
