Aboriginal religious life centres on a concept known as the Dreaming. The Dreaming is a non-indigenous term used by Aborigines to describe the spiritual, natural and moral order of the Aboriginal cosmos. It relates to the period from the genesis of the universe to a time beyond living memory.
